And it’s Finally Official! Virat and Anushka are Mr. and Mrs.

The speculations went a long run which ultimately had a happy ending; yes, the power-couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma just got married in Milan, Italy.

The newspaper, media and the internet has been making headlines every single day, ever since the mostly rumored couple has gone to Italy along with their very close family members. The Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli finally tied the knot with the most renowned Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.

Both Virat and Anushka posted on social media, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

While the love-couple announced their wedding on the social media, the spokesperson os Kohli and Anushka also confirmed the news, “Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got married at a private ceremony in Italy, today. The wedding was attended by close family and a few friends as they wished their wedding to be a very private affair.”

The newly wedded bride and groom will be hosting a grand reception on 21st December on New Delhi for their relatives which will be followed by another reception for celebrities, industry friends, and cricket team members on 26th December in Mumbai.

The new couple will be travelling to South Africa soon. Virat will be preparing for upcoming series and Anushka will be spending time with him and shall return back in the first week of January for beginning to shoot for film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai.

Both the bride and groom were looking absolutely gorgeous and most elegant in renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s bridal outfit. The fashion designer Sabyasachi told the ‘India Today’, “We did the clothes for both the bride and groom for all the functions. From engagement to mehendi and sangeet, wedding and post wedding dinner. It was wonderful to work with the couple. From the House of Sabyasachi, we wish them a very happy married life.” The designer further added, “For her engagement, Anushka wanted to wear a Sabyasachi velvet saree. And we made it in our signature Gulkand Burgundy. It was hand-embroidered using miniature pearls and the finest quality zardosi and marori. She wore a stunning uncut diamond and pearl choker with matching studs. The look was completed with kohl-rimmed eyes, red roses and our now iconic micro dot bindi.”

Chef Ritu Dalmia was in charge of the wedding delicacies. And the secret beautiful grand wedding was organized by Devika Narain, the renowned Delhi-based wedding planner. 

The couple first met at 2013 at a commercial shooting. And now they are officially and happily married.

Their spokesperson said, “We are extremely grateful to the media for their support and understanding in making the special occasion a memorable one and thank them for their continued love and support.”
