Channel V is Shutting Down Taking Away all Our Childhood Memories

Channel V was a music and entertainment channel for mostly teenage kids and adults. The 90’s kid can relate their evening and spare times, when they sit back on their sofas and turn the channel to Channel V. But the channel is soon going to be closed down. Yes, you heard it right. Star India has decided to shut down Channel V and replace it by Kannada Sports Channel.

Watching MTV and Channel V was a coolest pastime to do. The popular music channels used to serve our eyes with plenty of on trend songs, music videos and some cool VJs and reality shows.

Remember Lola Kutti? The Beauty on Duty? Alas!  Gone were those days much long ago though!

Also there were cool VJs who with their super-cool attitude, conversational skills, word puns and silly jokes used to entertain us followed by some beautiful music videos and back in the days old song remixes and pop songs.

VJs like Nikhil Chinappa, Anusha, Purab Kohli, Gaurav Kapur were some of the favourites.

Channel V was like our YouTube at that time.

The much adored channel which was once closer to our hearts back in our childhood days is having some ups and downs. Hence the decision of turning it down has been taken replacing it with Kannada Sports Channel.

However, with the unfortunate saddening news, the social media has come up with resentment and flooded with tweets recalling and reminding the old days.

Channel V was full of creative content back in the days. And we will cherish those memories forever in our hearts.
