Even novels have their own story that’s not written within its pages. You bought your favourite novels, read its fresh new pages, finished reading it and cherished it forever; while you are completely unaware that these masterpieces of art were rejected many a times before its publication. Rejection was and still is common whenever one wishes to publish a novel. While some writers keep on submitting unless it gets finally published, some does corrections and makes better changes in order to have a polished output.

I read all of the books you recommended and my favourite is actually Lolita, for a very simple reason: the dimension of the characters and their relationship is so well developed to a point of utter wonder. I just feel sad that Kubrik's movie didn't quite portray the story as it should have. Great list by the way :)
