Google Maps Go Launched on Google Play Store, Also Compatible for Low-end Android Devices

Google Maps Go is currently available on Google Play Store. At an event in New Delhi, Google released the Go edition of Android Oreo which is an operating system for smartphones equipped with 512 MB to 1 GB RAM.

And the Google Maps Go App is part of the Go series that will also be available in lightweight version that’s compatible for low-end android devices. There are smaller “Go-style” Google apps which are compatible with lower-end hardware device. And with Google Go, the lightweight search app, now users can access lightweight maps app with Google Maps Go that’s available on Google Play Store.

The Google Maps Go helps the users to view the location and get directions of any place via bus, train, cars or even by walking. It also provides information on public transport system, satellite imagery and current traffic status.

The Google Maps Go is will be compatible on any Android smartphone that has 1GB RAM or lesser and also runs on Android 4.1 or newer version.

The new app can be accessed from mobile also. It will also not take much space on your phone and it has a support for around 70 countries.
