President Trump tweeted his “warmest regards” and went on to call this “an act of pure evil”

Reports suggest that when they reached the perpetrator’s hotel room he was found dead, according to his brother Eric Paddock, Stephen had no mental problems or political motives that the family knew about.

In honor of the sudden loss of life the Empire State building gave a statement that “In sympathy for the victims and those affected by the attack in Las Vegas. The display will include a rotating orange halo effect to shine a light on gun violence awareness.”

NBC tweeted earlier today, “Eiffel tower goes dark in tribute to Las Vegas shooting and Marseilles knife attack victims.”

These acts of shut down are both to pay respect to all those, whose lives were snatched from them and to bring about proper awareness of gun violence.

Statistics suggest that in 2017 already there have been 273 documented mass shootings with more than 11,000 deaths.
