Brian Houston who is from San Diego, United States and Evelia Reyes from Mexico tied the knot and signed the papers in a hurried yet romantic celebration.

When asked about their relationship, Houston simply said that this is “a statement that love has no borders.” He also mentioned that, “Even though we are divided by a giant fence here, we can still love each other on both sides of the fence.”

Evelia looked stunning in complete white, dress and veil and Brian looked dapper in a slick grey suit. Families met and embraced after which the couple exchanged vows and signed the documents.

The groom is legally unable to enter Mexico because of reasons he was not willing to share with any news channel and the bride is also not able to go to the US because of the heavy laws placed against Mexicans entering the country.

Now that they have become married, they plan with their lawyers to get the new Mrs. Houston to the States as early as a year but the couple in the meanwhile had to part ways, ending on a bittersweet note.

There were additionally numerous others to unreservedly met and embraced their friends and family from the US and Mexico for nearly an hour while the Door of Hope was kept open for individuals without visas.

Writer Opinion : I was really sad to hear about this couple especially because I too am in an LDR. And the thought of me not being able to be with the man I love despite of the fact that we get married makes me a little dizzy! I really and sincerely hope they are allowed to be together soon and stay together forever and ever!
